Flying to RMU – Región de Murcia International Airport

For guests seeking convenience and tranquillity, RMU is the closest option. This modern, boutique-style airport offers a calm and streamlined travel experience, allowing you to move from plane to sunshine with ease.

Your Journey to the Resort

Reaching La Torre Golf Resort is simple and stress-free, with excellent transport links from both Región de Murcia International Airport (RMU) and Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández Airport (ALC). From RMU (Región de Murcia International Airport)

RMU is the closest airport to La Torre Golf Resort, offering the quickest and most direct journey.

Approximate travel time:

20–25 minutes by car or taxi.

Transport options from RMU:

Private Transfers

You can arrange a private transfer in advance and offer a smooth, relaxed arrival. Your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall and take you directly to the resort. We can put you in touch with a recommended provider. Fares cost from 30 Euros each way (dependent on time and number of passengers).

Car Hire

RMU hosts several well-known car rental companies. Hiring a car offers complete flexibility during your stay and a pleasant, straightforward drive to the resort along well-signposted local roads.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available at the airport. Fares to La Torre Golf Resort are typically reasonable due to the short distance.

Airport Bus

There is a bus service, which must be pre-booked, operating between RMU Airport and La Torre Golf Resort. However, it must be noted that the bus drops passengers off at the La Torre Town Centre not to the apartment. The website for the bus is: https://airportbus.es/

From ALC (Alicante–Elche Airport)

Alicante Airport provides a wider range of flights and is a convenient choice for many travellers.

55–70 minutes by car or taxi.

Alicante has a large selection of car hire companies, both international and local. The drive to La Torre is straightforward, following the A-7 motorway towards Murcia before joining local roads.

Taxi

Taxis are available at the taxi rank outside arrivals. While more expensive than RMU due to the distance, they offer a direct and efficient option if you prefer not to drive.

Driving Notes

  • Roads between both airports and La Torre Golf Resort are modern, well-maintained, and clearly signposted.
  • Both routes primarily follow motorway or dual-carriageway roads, making the journey smooth and stress-free.
  • Parking at La Torre Golf Resort is easy, the apartment has a designated parking space in the apartment’s own underground car park. Entry is with an electronic key fob.
